Questions we wish you'd ask

We take the time to learn about you and your personal financial situation. No two people are exactly alike, and no two financial situations are exactly alike. We understand your financial plan will be as unique as you are.

Our approach begins with us educating on you the financial markets, investments, and insurance products so that you have all the necessary information to make a decision. When you feel comfortable, we give you our recommendations and advice to you so that you can help reach your financial goals.

We understand it’s your money, and any decision will ultimately be yours. We’re here to help you make the best decision for you, and then help keep you on track to meet your goals.

After our no-cost, no-obligation first meeting, we decide if your situation is one where we feel like we can have a positive impact and add value. We also understand that you may not feel like you work well with us, or vice versa. We aim to build long-term relationships with our clients, relationships built on trust and open and honest communication.

If, after that first meeting, both sides feel like we can work well together, the decision is then made to begin the working relationship.

Kevin and Tyler are 50-50 owners and partners of MC Capital Management, and both strive to know each client individually. Given that it is often more productive and more efficient to have one primary contact, you will primarily work with either Kevin or Tyler. Neither Kevin nor Tyler are incentivized or paid more based on the number of clients they work with or the number of new clients they bring on.

Kevin and Tyler have set up a legal arrangement where if either of them becomes legally incapacitated or unable to perform the daily job functions, the other person will automatically become the financial advisor on your accounts. This is a “disaster recovery plan” and highly unlikely to occur. In the event that it does, nothing will change with your accounts, how you access them, or how you pay for the services we provide.

This plan is put in place to ensure a smooth, seamless transition for you in the unlikely event that something happens to either Kevin or Tyler.

We provide advice and make recommendations based on your individual situation. We are not paid any more or incentivized to offer any type of investment or portfolio.

We use our knowledge of the industry and expertise with different investments and portfolios to provide you with the products and services you need to best accomplish your financial goals.

This could include but is not limited to Mutual Funds, ETF’s, individual stocks, individual bonds, variable annuities, life insurance, and managed portfolios.

As CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals and Accredited Investment Fiduciaries, we are required by law to put your interest ahead of our own and recommend products and portfolios that are the best for you, not what’s best for us.

A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person, legally bound to put their clients’ interests ahead of their own, with a duty to preserve trust and good faith.

In plain English? We have to do what’s best for you, not what’s best for us. We would anyway, but this gives you an extra layer of protection and legal recourse in the highly unlikely event you feel you need it.

Kevin and Tyler regularly complete continuing education and ethics courses to maintain our fiduciary status and provide you with the most complete, accurate, and secure method of transacting business and providing our services.
